WHAT IS THE CHURCH SERVICE LIKE?

We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your visit to Hughson First Baptist Church.  When you enter the worship center you’ll receive a bulletin and a smile. Sit anywhere you like. Coffee, and tea are located in the back of the sanctuary, as well as snacks, feel free to serve yourself. Our Church services are upbeat with live music, followed by a practical, simple message based on the Bible.

 

WHERE IS THE CHURCH LOCATED?

For over one hundred years, the Hughson First Baptist has been meeting at the corner of 6th & Pine in beautiful mid-town Hughson, California. Our Worship is every Sunday at 10:45AM, however, we’d really value you being our guest at Sunday School – I know that sounds old-fashioned; but our classes are for those who want to ask questions about faith and God. Whatever your questions are, we think you’ll find a home here at HFBC.

 

DRESS

At Hughson First Baptist Church, everyone is welcome to come just as they are. Some people like to dress up, and others dress very casually. We encourage you to come the way that you feel most comfortable.

 

DURING THE SERVICE

Every Sunday at Hughson First Baptist Church you will hear a relevant, dynamic, straightforward message based on the Bible that is designed to be practical in your everyday life. Everything we do, here at HFBC focuses on what Jesus Christ called us for – Make Disciples…Our messages are focused on just that. 

As part of our weekly service, offering plates are at the front of the church but there is no formal offering time. If you are a guest, please do not feel any pressure or obligation to give. This is an act of worship for our regular Church family, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives and to give back to help continue the work of the Church.

 

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

All of our children’s workers undergo formal background checks to ensure the safety of your children. After worship has concluded, children's church is available during the service for preschool to 6th grade. Children are also welcome to stay in the sanctuary during the church service.  A crying room for infants and toddlers is also available or you may decide to check your infant/toddler into the nursery during the service. Please feel free to do whatever you are comfortable with!
